Answer:	I don’t see why. The stand is completely outside the X-box and does not require you to open the unit in any way so your warranty would not be void.

Answer:	Yes. The high/off/slow button only works for the fans. Not for the light bar. So if you want to turn off the light bar, you need to pull out the power cable.
