Answer:	It depends on what you are looking at getting from your action cam. The video quality is pretty comparable to previous models like the AS100 or AZ1. The perks are the included flat lens, better user interface, and digital zoom feature. Some of the down-sides are the camera is no longer splash proof outside of the dive housing, and there is no external mic input (not that the previous models had ones that were easily accessible). I was really hoping for increase photo capabilities, like manual shutter for night photography, but we didn't get that. All in all a good purchase, but I don't know if I would recommend it if you already own a Sony Action Camera.

Question:	can I use my android phone as a remote to view
Answer:	I do not believe there is a limit on 4k, as long as your card (max bitrate requires U3 class microsd) supports it and has a capacity that will accommodate the length. You can view live pictures when you are recording but I am not sure if you can review clips you recorded, as I have never tried. Hope this helps.
Question:	is this one camera or two
Answer:	Keep in mind it's easy to convert the FDR-X3000 to use all of the "standard" mounts, brackets, and related hardware. The camera can't be in its dive case to use a tripod screw to hardware adapter. The camera body must, however, use its own dive case. One is included with the camera.
Question:	can i take away the live remote control from the wristband? im planning to buy a shooting grip and finger grip to use the camera
Answer:	It has a 3.5mm audio jack in the back, on which you can use 3 pole-microphones (doesn't work with smartphone mics!).
Question:	Is the Live View Remote waterproof
Answer:	It needs the case to be fully waterproof. By itself it's splash proof meaning it'll take a light drizzle or drop in the snow. Sound quality is so-so, doesn't handle wind well even with the wind noise reduction. Has a port for an external mic if you're worried about the quality, just remember that with the case on you won't be able to use the mic port.

Super wide-angle zoom lenses are ideal for taking photos of sweeping landscapes and producing striking images with emphasized perspective. For mid- to high-level users who seek a wider minimum focal length than offered by standard wideangle zoom lenses, the SEL-1018 is the ideal choice. NOTE:"35 mm equivalent focal length (APS-C)" and "Angle of View (APS-C)" are with interchangeable lens digital camera incorporating APS-C type image sensors. This super wide-angle zoom lens is perfect for taking photos of sweeping landscapes and producing striking images with emphasized perspective. Features incluse a constant maximum aperture of F4 and built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) image stabilization. When changing your aperture to defocus the background, the light sources appear blurred. This ‘bokeh’ effect of the blurred background can be enhanced with circular aperture blades used in this lens. Conventional aperture blades have flat sides creating unappealing polygonal shaped defocussed points of light. α lenses overcome this problem through a unique design that keeps the aperture almost perfectly circular from its wide-open setting to when it is closed by 2 stops. Smoother, more natural defocusing can be obtained as a result. As focal lengths get longer, lenses built with conventional optical glass have difficulties with chromatic aberration, and as a result images suffer from lower contrast, lower color quality, and lower resolution. ED glass dramatically reduces chromatic aberration at telephoto ranges, and provides superior contrast across the entire image, even at large aperture settings. Super ED glass provides enhanced compensation for chromatic aberration. Aspherical lens design dramatically reduces spherical aberration while also reducing lens size and weight. Spherical aberration is a slight misalignment of the light rays projected on the image plane. This is caused by differences in refraction at different points on conventional spherical lenses which degrade image quality in large-aperture lenses. Specially shaped “aspherical” elements near the diaphragm restore alignment of light rays at the image plane, maintaining high sharpness and contrast even at maximum aperture and can also be used at other points in the optical path to reduce distortion. Answer:	Assuming that you're using one of the NEX cameras, I don't think there's a 12mm prime available without using an adapter. That aside, 10-18mm would be more flexible than a fixed lens, and for landscapes, f/4 should be plenty fast. The 10-18 is a nice lens. Hope this helps. Dave

Answer:	This will FIT on any e-mount camera, a6000, a6300, a5100, NEX, and ALL of the A7 (full frame) variants. BUT on an A7 it will either shoot in APS-C mode (using the same size area on the full frame sensor as an APS-C camera (a5xxx/a6xxx/NEX) and produce a lower resolution than the normal photo on the full-frame setting. You can shoot on the full-frame sensor setting on an A7(r/ii etc.) but you will see vignetting.

The RX0 II premium lens and sensor are complimented by the high-speed Sony BIONZ X image processing engine that powers conversion of light captured by the sensor, rendering photos and movies with natural details, realism, richer tonal gradations and low noise. Internal 4K recording8 is now possible due to the performance of BIONZ X which has been increased by a factor of about 1.8 compared to the previous RX0. Internal 4K movie with image stabilization

The RX0 II offers 4K (3840x2160) 24p/30p internal movie recording8with electronic image stabilization and full pixel readout with no pixel binning to collect approximately 1.7 times the amount of data required for 4K video. This oversampling reduces the appearance of moire and jaggies and delivers smooth, high quality 4K footage with exceptional detail and depth. Using the Sony Imaging Edge mobile application and Movie Edit add-on app, this footage can be transferred to a smartphone, edited, and shared easily across social networks. Even the image stabilization can be enhanced as the Movie Edit add-on app utilizes gyro information captured while shooting. Interval recording for time-lapse videos

Time-lapse movies document changes with the passing of time. The RX0 II features built-in interval recording, for time-lapse movie creation, that can be set anywhere between 1 and 60 seconds, with a total number up of shots from 1 to 9999. AE tracking sensitivity can be adjusted to “High”, “Mid” or “Low” during interval shooting, allowing for reduced changes in exposure over the shooting interval. The still images shot can then be edited into a time-lapse movie on a computer with the Viewer software from the Imaging Edge software suite. Answer:	I contacted Sony, there were no reports of problems with sound!???? So I pointed out that there were many people having issues, but the only recourse is to send it in under warranty to see if they can fix it - even though it's a design issue, in my opinion.

If you're missing that piece I would contact them to ask them what they send you that its a male to female Piece on that allows you to plug the blog en to the camera device.
