Answer:	Not sure but it works on my gold ps4. The home button kinda sticks at times but not horribly and you will be resetting the controller every week or once a month I never know. I'd give it a 2.5 or 3 out of 5. If you ever need to fix it I have yet to figure out how to open it up since the grips cover where the last 2 screws are with a normal controller.

If you have rechargeable batteries yes you can charge your the controller with the USB cable. If your batteries die and you don't feel like being tethered to the cable, you have the option to swap in non rechargeable batteries and continue playing wirelessly. This is a good design. Don't be fooled.

How to pair the ps4 controller with playstaion 4?

1.Pls charge the controller for more than 1 hours.

2. Pls check if you connect the controller to console with the usb cable at the initial.

Pls connect the controller to the console with usb cable, then take the cable off, then press the PS button, all lights will blink, when the light keep stable, it means they connect by bluetooth.
