Answer:	While rugged and weather resistant, it isn't waterproof and were it to be immersed in water, it might not function. Note this is a battery radio but it also operates on AC, so it isn't designed to be seriously wet.

Answer:	I have one in my large barn w/ florescent lighting, and it works better than the radio that was in there. I don't see where insulation would interfere with reception.

Answer:	Yes it is stated as JIS4 on the Sangean site. The JIS4 Standard is not really a Water-Proof standard, but rather water-resistant. JIS4 in a nutshell means the product must be able to work without damage after submersion in water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. In other words, it is for products where expected use around water is not under high-pressure, but it could get wet and still be ok. Typical for products with intended use around pools, marine craft, or weather/rain use. Not intended for taking diving for example.

Answer:	If you have an older controller WITHOUT the built-in headphone jack, it appears as though you can't...even with the headset adapter and updated firmware on the controller. However, I have an Elite Controller (which has a built-in jack) and there is a new option ("Volume") that appears so it looks as though only the modern controllers allow this. This feature appears to work with any single jack headset/mic combo...such as Sony's Gold Wireless Headset, which I use.

Answer:	no，it comes out from both side，you need to mute TV. but you don't need to setup your headset except the first time you might need to update your controller with the adapter connected.

If you have an old version, then yes you will need the adapter, but again, it is included in the box. Question:	can you adjust the mic and game audio independently
Answer:	The ability to charge Li-ion for the C3400 is the big difference. They use basically the same charge algorithms for NiMH cells. The C3400 also has greater charge current capability. It can charge at 2000 mA on two channels.
Question:	is this cable 2.5mm on one side and 3.5mm on the other side
Answer:	I don't know if it has a "dead" battery code. However, it will tell you what the current charge is in mAH. For example my AA batteries are 2300 mAH. However, after battery charges the display will tell me that it was able to charge the batteries to 1800 mAH. I assume when it hits below 900 mAH (50%), it is time to change them out. There is a refresh+charge mode. I have done this a couple of times and it made a difference. i.e current full charge is 1000 mAH, after refresh full charge is 1800mAH. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I too have a Kinder aged son. He likes it! I honestly haven't sat in front of the game to pay close enough attention...he has never asked for help. He does read now but we got this game at Christmas when they were just starting to learn and he was never frustrated or asked what things said.We don't have the race car controller and my 5yr old has never had a problem with it.I will say I didn't realize it was only a one player game but my 4th grader isn't interested in playing it
