Answer:	It works from my computer (running Windows 7) to the input to my amp. Don't plug it into the phono inputs, use other inputs. The Phono input will amplify that input by a HUGE amount. A Phono output is far lower than this USB to RCA unit, CD/Tape/DVD, etc. player.
