Question:	This “combo” does not come with a mouse
Answer:	I got it with out the mouse. I like the sewit mouse better and it was under 8.99. Way better deal and better weighted with a metal base. The keyboard is decent but far from the best there are a few quality issues the light showing through 1 or 2 keys but that is really it... Ibuse it for work with the lights out and its a great budget key board.

My reason for a backlit keyboard is I don't touch type so I look at the keys and I need the back light at night so I don't need to turn on the lights. The font on the keys is just plain annoying. I gave it several weeks. Also, the back lighting is way over done on the bottom row of keys.

Question:	Can i turn on/off the light for each individual keys? if not, how do i turn them all on? (i don't like any of the existing patterns). thanks
Answer:	Yes. There is no dedicated lighting on/off key on this keyboard, but you can still turn the backlight off or create a pattern you like using function key combinations. If you want to turn the backlight off, press "Fn + 9" or "Fn + 0". These two slots are for customization and they are blank by default. If you want to create your own lighting pattern, simply press the "Fn + 9" or "Fn + 0" and "Fn + Home" to enter the customizable mode. Press any key you would like to set in this mode, and press the same key again so it will not light up. Note that KM-G7 has only six colors and you can't change the color of the keys. After you have chosen all the keys you want them to light in slot "9" or "0", press "Fn + End" to save your pattern.
Question:	can you find replace caps for this kind of switch
Answer:	Yes. The KM-G7 features Outemu Blue switches which have the same stem as Cherry MX switches, so you can use Cherry MX keycaps (or other similar keycaps) to replace the original keycaps.
Question:	Can you use rubber o rings on this keyboard to dampen the sound
Answer:	No. O-rings could stop keys bottoming out, but the "click" sound happens with switch activation, before bottoming out. If you stopped the "click" of Blue switches, you would also stop the switches working. You should choose a keyboard with different switches (such as Brown switches) if you don't want the "click" of Blue switches.
