Ive gone through at least 3 or 4 pairs of astros over the years of playing video games and they just do not hold up over time. Answer:	The Volume went from Medium to very low, but I couldn't get them to go loud or even near loud. No where close to very loud.

Answer:	It plugs directly into the remote (as long as you have a new enough remote to have the 3.5mm port), so there's no need to charge it.

Answer:	My son says yes. There is a setting for surround sound and you can tell where someone is shooting from as well as can hear the footsteps. It works best with Xbox one controllers. He seems to have trouble if it’s not a wireless controller but no issues with his wireless one
