Answer:	This works in wired mode with a dead battery, but only as regular headphones, not sound cancelling. It can also be charged while using it, but it buzzes while charging. It only takes an hour -if that- to charge, so I just charge it because the buzzing annoys me.

A question for those who have bought & used these: When you set the earbuds in the case or open the case, do indicator lights on both earbuds come on

Answer:

It generally does both, but I haven't timed laptop charging with and without something plugged into the QC3 port. My experience has been that the phone may or may not fast charge (even if nothing is plugged into the USB-C port) and that seems to be based on the differences in the way different phone brands implement fast charging. Currently, I have my Huawei Matebook X Pro (which uses a 40w OEM charger) and Samsung Galaxy S9+ both plugged in. There is 18 minutes left to charge the laptop from 85% to Full and the Galaxy is Fast charging. I would say it is charging the laptop a bit slower than it could to accommodate the fast charging on the phone.

Answer:	i had the same problem, but mine was with my wired xbox controller. i unplugged the controller wire at the controller and reset it. that fixed my problem. try resetting the controller or the xbox, pc.
