"A Realm Reborn(ARR)" being a bit less intense than the current Stormblood expansion. Additionally, they've announced an end to DIrectX 9.0c support near the start of the upcoming ShadowBringers Expansion, point being the game is ever-evolving... Truthfully the GT 720 is about where the game was as 'minimum' low-res specs went on initial release of ARR, these days it's closer to a GTX 750; I also realize this is a 4+ yr old question, but since its ranked fairly high as 'frequently viewed questions' go I felt it warranted something better than a simple YES/NO answer. That said, given the ever changing status of the game, I would suggest to any current/future viewer two options (Heck... You can download the demo of the game from the Nintendo eShop if you're interested in giving it a try before investing the money. Being a first timer myself, I loaded up the demo.. and started running around, realized there was like a compass arrow leading me to something so I went off that way, 3 minutes later I'm in a fight for my life. I chose an archer class and idk what the deal was but either even at point blank I was missing.. or I was doing so badly I wasn't even loosing an arrow off the entire time I managed to survive. Which was about 45 seconds tops.. and only because I was jumping and running around like I was having the worst acid trip of my life of something. But yea, basically after that, I felt so discouraged by how confusing the mechanics and controls were I just gave up and deleted the demo and moved on to other games. I needs a tutorial very badly.

Answer:	This version of FFVII is not remastered but its the last known polished version of FFVII that was released on PC/PS4/Vita. It wont look as pixelated as the old PS1 version, but still same generation of graphics (polygons and vertexes).
