| Answer: | This Cable works for all versions of the Xbox 360. There are 2 black caps on the cable, one on the end of the cable, and another on the bottom. You have to remove the caps in order to attach it to a hard drive. Remove the cap on the end in order to attach it to a new Xbox 360 Slim Hard Drive. Remove the cap on the bottom, if you are trying to attach it to an older model Hard Drive. Once plugged into the Hard Drive plug the other end of the cable into the xbox itself. It will then ask you to transfer your data. Select the destination device you want your memory to end up at. Then all you have to do is choose what memory you want to transfer over. Or you can select "transfer all memory". After that, press Continue or Start at the bottom right of the screen. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | That's unusual. Sounds definitely like a manufacturing issue here. Perhaps Microsoft Corporation simply did away with the side port connector on later models of its X--Box One. If your X--Box One is still under warranty, and you are still in possession of your receipt for it, you can try to return/exchange your current model for another X--Box One that HAS the side port connector & then go ahead & connect the X--PAK 2 TB drive to the side of your X--Box One console.
