Answer:	Just to add my own piece here, it works fine with my MacBook Pro and I tested it on s friend's MacBook Air. I don't know what's up with the fella the gave the long winded answer about it not working for his MacBook Air. Unless Mac/Apple has developed some new form of Bluetooth, which I haven't heard of yet, it WILL work fine on all Bluetooth compatible devices. Works fine on all my Samsung devices too, which I have for everything else, tablet, phone, etc.

Answer:	Funny the 9 ANS the 9X are exactly the same headset AND same price.. Amazon sells the 9X but not the 9.. with the exception the 9X does not does not come with a USB dongle the 9 does come with one... so with the 9X you have to buy a Xbox USB OR a Bluetooth dongle... they sell the 9 on their website for $199... dont get ripped off !

Answer:	I’m not 100% sure but I think the signal drops are a result of network inference from WiFi routers cycling through channels in their bands to find the clearest one. I used to have the same problem with my old Turtle Beach X41s. They connected via 2-4GHz wireless and every few minutes would go through this static to crackling l to popping noises and then stop. The fix is to get into your router and turn off automatic channel selection (5GHz in this case) and then set it on a channel that doesn’t interfere with the headset. Problem now solved, no more drops.
