This cable, under the hood, is exactly the same thing: a USB audio interface with a 1/4" cable connected to it. The only difference is you can't unplug the cable. :) As far as the computer is concerned, you're plugging in a USB audio source. The only thing that makes this a "Rocksmith cable" is that the Rocksmith game is programmed to ignore any USB audio interfaces that don't respond with the Vendor/Product ID strings it's expecting. Sorry to ruin the magic. :) |

| Answer: | Yes, it is $2 extra but you get two extra games as well as Far Cry 3. The extra games are pretty good, one is an open world shooting game and the other is like an 80's type farce game (picture Running Man the movie) according to my son who has the compilation and likes the additional games too. Well worth it in his eyes. |

There's no way for a seller to determine if a code has been used except to try it - and then it wouldn't be able to be used again. So, as long as a used copy includes the Blood Dragon download card, there's a 50/50 chance that it might work. |
