How to use it on PS4?
1. Please test it with your cell-phone before apply the headset on your PS4, to make sure it works well.
2. Insert the headset with 3.5mm jack plug into the Gamepad
3. Then long press the PS4 button or enter the System Settings, there is a peripheral machines choose "Adjust Sound and Devices", "Output to the headphones", then change it to "All audio". This model has cool oval ear cups and an improved mic. I currently have a Razer Kraken 7.1 v1 and 7.1 v2. Gave the v1 to my wife and bought the new Razer Kraken 2019 for her to replace it. About 1 year ago I bought the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition with THX and returned it. The sound and the mic was horrible. The Razer Kracken 2019 uses this free software to simulate 7.1 surround https://www.razer.com/7.1-surround-sound . I should get my wife's new pair today. |

I got these cause I'm tight on money rn so these are a high quality low price replacement for my Polk audio strikers zx's which lasted me years and to this day are still the nicest sounding headphones I've used. These are close behind that though and the polls were 170$ new. These are 60. It's a great deal and considering the surpioror mic quality and comfort. Yeet. | Answer: | Yes, the USB connector is all that is needed to connect the headset to the PC. You attach the headset to to the USB dongle with the 3.5mm jack, and then the dongle to the PC via USB. This allows you to use the built in sound card and 7.1 surround when connected to the PC. The 3.5mm jack is mainly meant to be used when using the headset with a mobile device or with the PS4. I came from the Turtle Beach x12 headset where I needed a USB port, AND audio/mic jack. But with the HyperX Could II, you only need the USB port. |

And the Cloud II like the original Cloud comes with interchangeable leatherette and velour ear pads.
