Controllers carry the same 12 month warranty and some have had the controller replaced with the extended warranty but that seems to depend on the Sony customer representative you deal with.

It connects with PS4 and XBOX One without problems, at the same time i want to remind you that if your xbox one is an old version, then you must get an adapter cause this is not an usb headset, the usb attached on the cord is used to power the led light. Answer:	They barely sound different. People saying it's better wired because it's analog are overlooking that the audio from games and your computer start off as digital! Unless you're listening to a record player it's already a digital signal. You can always plug the aux line from the headphones directly to the PC or other device to make use of it's own processing power. For a game you're going to get the full range of sound when wireless or wired.
Question:	How do you use this with a docked Nintendo Switch
Answer:	I currently own three pair of steel series headphones including the arctic pro with game DAC. I have owned probably 15 different sets of mid-high end headphones. The Steel series arctic pro with game DAC are louder than most Xbox/PlayStation compatible headsets. However, you will never get the full potential out of any headset without using a PC. For whatever reason, Microsoft and Sony use weak soundcards and/or intentionally dampen volume. For example, I own a $300 pair of Xbox-compatible Astro A50s that only produce maybe 20% of the volume When connected To the Xbox versus the same pair Connected to a PC using standard realtek audio drivers.

Answer:	Since the headset has a 4-pole (left/right/ground/mic) connection, you should be able to just plug it into the controller no issue. I have a pair of HD headphones with only a 3 pole, so I got a v-moda boom bro mic and plugged it into the headphones. From there i just connected it to my controller and party/game chat works fine. Your situation would be the same with a cable. Just remove adding the v-moda and just plug a 4 pole 3.5mm from the headset directly to the controller.
Question:	I can’t the the microphone to work with the switch! How do I get it to work
Answer:	I play the Switch as a portable, there is an included USB-C Wi-Fi dongle. To use it while docked, there is an included USB that connects the dongle to one of the USB ports on the side of the dock. I can confirm that these headphones connect to the Switch effortlessly and are absolutely fabulous... Very directional when playing Fortnite, for instance. I kept thinking my kittens were knocking things off text table (they aren't allowed up there, of course). Also, these are VERY comfortable and allow you to hear what is going on around you though it is muted somewhat. The sound is phenomenal and I am very happy with the sound and quality.
