Answer:	charge held for about 30mins, but after assembled within two weeks, the music and lighting disabled and vendor ignored my emails to repair or exchange product. big disappointment, I wouldn't recommend their products.

Answer:	Just follow the directions. Brought this a year ago for one grandson (age 4). He quickly outgrew it and now his younger cousin is riding it. They both LOVE it!
