Answer:	Hi. This is not a Combiner Wars Series Figure. It's a Power of the Primes figure. Therefore it does not combine. It does however, have a Voyager Class Hot Rod inside, that combines with armor to form Leader Class Rodimus Prime. That's pretty cool! Power of the Primes Optimus Prime does the same thing. He has an Orion Pax that combines with armor to form Leader Class Optimus Prime.
Question:	Will this stand up to the play of a sort of gentle 12 year old
Answer:	I would say yes. It’s very well built and feels solid. I bought it for my son’s 11th birthday. He has been collecting Transformers for about 6 years now and we’ve gone through several figures, even though he isn’t rough with them. They just haven’t held up to a lot of “transforming.” This one is built much better than his Prime and RID figures.

Answer:	It is about 9 inches tall, depending on how "straight" you want to have him standing. This is the fully integrated form. The individual Hot Rod figure is about 6 inches tall. It stands a good comparison with the old Toys 'R' Us exclusive Masterpiece Rodimus Prime figure from many years back.

Answer:	It is a lot of steps, but if you own the Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Bumblebee, the transformation process is exactly the same because they are the same model. In my opinion, the transformation wasn't that hard, but when I first got mine, the legs were hard to pull apart. Hope that helps!
