I have no experience with the blue version and selected the green gloves based on the pictures provided. I noticed that one picture of the green gloves showed the hand bending and I liked the idea of a flexible glove that would allow me to better groom my cats. Hope this helps.

Question:	how much bigger is the medium versus the baby gund spunky
Answer:	The medium spunky is about 2-3 times as large as the baby spunky. The medium size is a little big for a newborn but my kid started sleeping with his medium "dogbo" around 6mo old. He is 3 now, we are on the 3rd dog. They hold up really well, we just buy extras for daycare and grandmas house. He still has the original one!

Answer:	It does bark, but you have to press a button in the middle. I don't think it ever barked while she slept on it- I think it would be hard to set off unless you were trying to. My 9 yo still sleeps with this 
