Answer:	I honestly don't know. I bought this as a gift for a friend in Germany and didn't notice if there was a tag on the bear that listed the materials used to make it. I'd guess it is constructed entirely of synthetics, not cotton.

Answer:	I do not know. This was a gift. I have not seen it in person. Sounds like you can remove the therapy pouch that contains the clay beads and lavender scented flowers but my bet is you can not remove the lavender from the therapy pouch. Just guessing.
