| Answer: | I would only allow Furby with a 5 year old while under adult supervision. I ordered a Furby for my one year old neice for Christmas, thinking the audio interaction would make her laugh. It does, but with the mechanics of Furby, he has some hard plastic parts that could get broken fairly easily. Not a toy suitable for cuddling, either. He is adorable, & has turned out to be more of a toy for me to set up (also, there's an ap so you can interact more with him) & play with, to prepare him for playtime with my neice. She's at an age where she throws almost everything she holds into the floor, and I'm afraid he wouldn't last long if I didn't stay with her while she plays with him. If a plastic part were to break off, I'd be afraid, too, that she could get choked (she also likes to put things in her mouth). It came late in the day and my Granddaughter had left to go back to Texas so I had to ship it to her, (Cost around $25). My Granddaughter received the Furby anf my son could not power up the Furby. (My son is no idiot-he works on F-16 Fighter planes. I hopefully am going to get the toy back from my son(who threw the packaging away, assuming it would work) I plan on sending it back to Amazon. I have never had problems ordering anything off of Amazon=but this Furby Connect was a huge disappointment to my Granddaughter. NOT HAPPY! |

| Answer: | Take off the battery cover. There is a very small reset button that u can press and hold down with a toothpick! Ours did this as well and resetting it fixed it! We had to reconnect after. |

Troubleshooting
The first time you play with your Furby Connect toy with the app, you will also need to connect to the app for an initial one-time firmware update. You’ll know the update is complete when Furby re-boots and says “CONNECTED!”. You are now ready to play!
Does your Furby Connect seem sleepier than usual? If you haven’t connected to the app yet, please connect for an update. If you’ve already done that, try giving your Furby Connect fresh batteries!
If Furby Connect has trouble pairing with your device, first make sure the icon in the top left corner of the app is yellow. If it isn’t, click the purple icon to connect.

| Answer: | We have had the same problem. There is a reset button in the battery compartment and also if you press down in the mouth of the furby. Both of those reset techniques have worked for us. You may need to do it each time you change the batteries. |
