Answer:	I think you will need more. For example, the pop-up flag & falling hammer project uses 11 (2 of those included) 8x2's. One project also includes a 4 peg slope brick that I can't see in the picture of the brick box. For the pulley and bucket project, you'll need what looks like 28 4x2's (or pieces that add up to those).

Answer:	There is no way to attach a number to who could benefit from this book. I purchased it for my then 7 year old grandson. However, his Dad and I have been very active with him with other hands on building projects since he could walk. Whatever the age, be prepared to work with the person and enjoy doing it.
