Answer:	Yes. We built it this way at first and it was too tall for our son, so we rearranged some pieces and built him a wider and eye level structure. We really like this set, because you don't have to follow any instructions to build the marble run and no matter which way you build it all the parts fit snug, unlike the other brand that we purchased.
