Answer:	Easy. It’s a 10 minute distraction for a child over 9. I bought this for my 6 year old (loves magnets, snap circuits, legos, etc). This was fun and worth the price at $17.00. He picks it up every once in a while but I wouldn’t say this is is a learning toy so much as an experimental toy- if that makes sense.

Answer:	There is nothing in the back of this engine to connect to a railroad car so that it can pull something. (I have tied twist ties to the back rails and then to the front of train cars so that can still be pulled by this engine, but there is nothing on the back of the engine itself that will connect to a car).

Answer:	Two. There should be a little switch on the drill to reverse it.

Answer:	There is a switch for direction change. Mine works 50% of the time. It's my only complaint with the toy.

Answer:	Maybe this helps. The drill has a button with 3 setting: forward, reverse and off. If set to off, the drill makes no noise and doesn't do anything.
