If puzzle is 4 years old or younger, then go to the manufacturer's website and fill out their missing piece form on their website. I just purchased the puzzle this Spring 2018, so it is likely the manufacturer can help you.

But, the pieces are large and uniquely shaped so if the person can go by the shapes of the pieces, it may not be too challenging. It's hard to say, not knowing the person's specific abilities. I get these large piece puzzles for my husband who has Alzheimer's. The large and uniquely shaped pieces really make it possible for him to do puzzles.
