| Answer: | Yes! I got this for my 8 month old daughter and she's in love with it. As for it being any kind of danger to an infant/toddler: There are no really small parts (aside from the eyelids - which are super sturdy). I've pulled the hair to see how well it's sewn in and not one hair has come out. The hands/feet are far too big to be a choking hazard. The velcro on the back is extremely heavy duty and I even have trouble undoing it to change batteries. My only worry would be the eyelids but my daughter has poked at them a lot with no issues; they still open/close normally. If your child is incredibly destructive, this might be something to keep an eye on... But mine is already pretty destructive and there haven't been any issues. Although my daughter is literally always under supervision (super clingy), I really don't think this toy would be an issue/hazard to an 18 month old. Obviously take precautions since the official age range is for 2+, but I highly recommend it. The kissing feature is great for babies. I just worry about how well I've cleaned the face after my baby drools all over it 😅 |
