Answer:	The retail package has colorful images and descriptions of the train set on the outside. The "Frustration Free" packaging it will arrive in is a plain brown shipping box with no pictures on it. It looks less fancy and decorative. The toy inside will also comtain less packaging and be easier to assemble. It is still the same toy inside. We will be gifting ours to our child already assembled when she gets it, so the pretty package isn't necessary, and it will be easier to put together. "Retail packaging" is best for gifts to other families, "frustration free" packaging is easiest for parents. :)

Answer:	I know it works with the Thomas the Train but I am not familiar with the Fisher Price EZ Play Railway set so I couldn't say. The description line does say that it works with Thomas Trains and major brands. (not sure which major brands though) If you scroll down to the bottom on the Amazon description page, it states, "Magnet train toy fits all major brands included brio train set and Thomas Wooden Railway, and Chuggington." Hope this is helpful.
