For use as a grooming device the pad was tested on various dishwashers, refrigerators and washer/dryers, and had no issue with adhesion. Answer:	Got this for my son when he was around the same age. While it did fit him, he would not allow it to stay on his head and would pull it off. To this day- he is almost 17 months now, he will not allow me to use it! It's a great idea of a product, but so far it hasn't been very useful. Perhaps I will try again when he is old enough to understand that it will keep water out of his eyes.

Answer:	Thanks so much for contacting us. While each dog is different, we find that smaller dogs (under 15 lbs) can take up to six or seven minutes. Larger dogs can take upwards of five minutes. With the "nubs" at different heights it creates more of a challenge for them and thus takes a little longer. And, they actually seem to really enjoy the feel of licking the pad and will try to get ALL of the food off. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Since concrete is typically rough and porous it most likely will not adhere well. However, please notice on the front of the pad, on the left and right sides, are small holes or circles with a "+" inside. This is our "nail/screw placement" area. Knowing there may be times when a flat or polished surface in not available, we created this area to show where you may want to nail or screw the pad to a surface, such as wood or even concrete.
