The information I've found online suggests that there are ways to convert an unresponsive yo-yo to a responsive yo-yo, but I'd describe all of them as "Hacks" (e.g., swap bearings and hope) at best and "terrible ideas" at worse (e.g., use the wrong lube, rough up the bearing exterior)

Answer:	In theory, yeah. The yo-yo has a wide bearing to make it unresponsive, but it does have friction pads to make binding smooth. Again, in theory, if you got a narrower TypeC bearing and replaced the factory one, it should be responsive.
