Question:	I bought this product but it will not stay in motion. I have tried new batteries and changing the height of the cone. Are there any other tricks
Answer:	I don't know exactly what to tell you. The cone should not touch the base at any time during the rotation process. I know mine does not turn exactly even but at it's lowest point I made sure that it does not touch or rub the base- that's key. You already know that you can adjust the cone up and down. The only other thing that I could suggest is to watch the rings as they turn to see if there is any thing that is touching or causing the rings to stop. I had to adjust the ring that had the small red ball on it because the red ball would hit one of the rings during the rotation process which would cause one of the rings to stop turning. You can slide the rings around on the black strings to make any adjustments. I did slide the one ring with the small red ball on it so that the small red ball was raised up higher. That seemed to stop the friction.
Question:	Is this thing supposed to spin by itself for a long time? (More than 10 minutes) - I did everything as directed (including the batteries) and it will
Answer:	On a level table the batteries last about 3 months. The little screw turns to take the black sleeve at a convenient distance. It is an undulating movement so it can not be too close to the base to trip but not too far since contact is lost. The magnet goes up and down.
Question:	Any tricks to keep it silent
Answer:	Take a dab of Vaseline and rub it all over the metal spike under the cone. Just a very small amount of Vaseline that very lightly coats the spike. Do this and make sure the cone does not rub on the base as it spins and it makes absolutely no noise at all, even on slightly uneven surfaces.

Answer:	Sorry to read about the instructions If you read my review it can help you . Question:	Everyone says the frog is too big, but no one says how big an object will work well. What Size does the object have to be
Answer:	I had great luck using (A) a single Cheerio; (B) a Lego piece, the smallest one they make with a single bump on it; (C) a small marble; (D) a ‘Go’ game playing piece a bit less than 1/2” in diameter; (E) a dime. The problem with the frog which is about 1” in all dimensions is that from many viewing angles you go beyond the edge of what the mirascope can handle, so the frog only works perfectly from a very precise viewing position. The height of the object is more an issue than the diameter. The smaller items will work from many more viewing positions. Small items like the cheerio, for example, are startling how well it works — you would swear the cheerio is right there, but it’s not.

Answer:	Maybe for a little while, but he will probably get bored with it i bought it for my 8 year old boy in May and he is over it already
Question:	anyone buy it for a baby? my son is 1 and i know i know things with "small parts" but is this not durable enough to withstand a little banging
Answer:	I bought it for my 5 year old special needs son he chewed on it a little and eventually dropped it from his high chair- the black frame broke and the silver needles flew everywhere. That said if he's sitting and it falls on a carpeted area it should be fine. It's not really built to withstand a larger drop/ abuse though.
