Answer:	We had this issue when my 5 year old wanted to keep changing it and we inevitably forgot the code. We removed the batteries for an hour and still no reset, so I improvised. Very carefully take a pair of scissors or a flathead screwdriver and wedge it open a tiny bit, just enough to trip the sensor and hear the “door opening sound”, careful not to crack it open any further than that. Hold it like that until you are able to hold down the * key, enter your new code, hit the # key while still holding down the * key, release star key, then remove the scissors to close the door back. This kit has password lock and that was the most attractable thing because my son do not know have to open it and it is safe for kids too. This produce has a provision to fed a dollar bills and coins too.

For starters, it's sturdy! It's just plastic, but it is thicker plastic, so I have no worries about it being dropped or shoved off her dresser by her baby sister. The bank has soft number buttons on the front, with a turn lever to open the safe. The top has a small coin slot, and on the front, above the buttons is a small slit for paper money. The bottom has the battery compartment, and it also comes with a tiny screwdriver so you can easily open that area. Once we got the batteries in, I told my daughter the password was four 0's, and she typed it in, and then we heard a "ca-ching" noise, and saw a green light flash on the front of the door. She opened the level, and the door makes a sqeaking noise when opened. So cute! We left it on the main passcode for her, as it's easy for her to remember, and she loves putting her money in it!
