Answer:	Ours didn't arrive in a shipping box, however, arrived in near perfect condition and was shipped to Hawaii. Most of our packages are pretty damaged when we receive, was it just luck this one wasn't? Or perhaps the thick and small size box just holds up well. We couldn't be happier with our experience and the product. They even line the box with tissue paper making this box great as a gift! Their customer service is amazing, I'm sure they would replace if there were any issues and you were not satisfied with your order!

Answer:	We gave to our grand-daughter who was 9; she loved it; still has and it's been over a year. She brings it out occasionally and does a trick for us. She has other magic things we have bought her. But for a 12-year old, it would depend upon how mature he is and how much he likes magic. Is he a beginner? If so, he would probably enjoy because he could become proficient right away.

Answer:	Comes with two thumb tips, they've worked great for me for several years, only needed to replace batteries once.

Answer:	The thumbs cannot be recharged you need to pull the inside out and there's a small watch battery that goes in each thumb that will give you the magic again. It is a great illusion and loved by all practice practice practice no one will ever know where the lights are coming from enjoy!

Answer:	Most of these magic tricks are closeup magic. The vanishing and reappearing handkerchief trick we have all seen magicians do (pull a handkerchief from thin air) is also included and that could be used to pull it from up his sleeve if he really worked at it but even then I'm not sure it would do what he would want. Most beginner magic tricks kits that I'm aware of won't accomplish exactly what he wants but what he could do is to have the various items for the tricks in his suit pockets and take them out and then do the tricks.
