Answer:	The opening of a standard Dremel chuck is too small for either. If you switch out the standard chuck for a Dremel 4486 adjustable, spring-loaded collet, the 3mm would probably "fit" in it (max bit the 4486 will accept is 1/8" ... a little bigger than 3mm), but I don't think you'd want to try using any full size drill bit in a Dremel tool ... the drill speed to bit size/length ratio is a bad/dangerous combo. Don't know if they'd work for your job, but Dremel makes a 7-bit set of "standard" tip bits going from 1/32" to 1/8" (for use with their 4486 adjustable collet) and another, 4-bit "brad point" set that can be used with the standard chuck/collet, going from 1/8" to 1/4". Even though they're made by Dremel for use with their tool, the bigger sizes in the latter set can get pretty squirrelly when you're using them, depending on the material you're trying to drill into.
