Answer:	Any incandescent/filament lamp/bulb can work with AC or DC. It won't have any good reason to 'care' which it is.

Answer:	I got this to replace the bulb in my old "Tensor" model 9100 desk lamp with a 2 stage switch. It says "Use #93 bulbs only" on the lamp bottom, so I took a shot. Not only does this fit, it puts out a much cleaner light, with less heat than the bulb that was in it, so I'm delighted. It also seems to be handling the 2 stage switch fine, and is slightly brighter on one level, than the other, though it is subtle. Do I need 10 of them, not likely, but I'm happy with it so far (about 10 minutes use, thus far.)

Question:	So we got this little diy fan with our engine with no instructions? It doesn't just snap together. Any idea if there is instructions i can get
Answer:	This engine is a plastic toy, and not worth the effort to build and operate it. I would highly recommend the Sunnytechmmini, or the Sterling engine by Sterlingtechnologyline, these are well made and safe engines that will operate for many hours. The fuel is 91% Isopropol alcohol. Get a large 60 ml Slip Syringe from the Veterinary supply store to transfer the fuel, and keep the wicks away from the boiler. Keep a fire extinguisher handy, be careful, and enjoy.

Answer:	*99% sure that yes... I gave it to my grandchild...
Question:	can you build a small lamp powered fan with it
Answer:	I had this happen to me too. Turns out, it's really easy (50% chance, without the ability to read Chinese - by the look of it, picture 15 of the instructions mentions this) that one or both pistons are not installed correctly (you'll need to flip them 180 degrees to work). If you look at the pistons carefully, their arms are NOT SYMMETRICAL. I wish I can attach a picture, let me try. The piston heads need to be totally flush with the red frame otherwise steam seeps out and the engine will not work. Once I corrected the problem, it worked really great!

How it works?

This is traditionally known as an external combustion engine in contrast to an internal combustion engine where the heat input is by combustion of a fuel within the body of the working fluid. Unlike the steam engine's use of water in both its liquid and gaseous phases as the working fluid, the Stirling engine encloses a fixed quantity of permanently gaseous fluid such as air or helium. As in all heat engines, the general cycle consists of compressing cool gas, heating the gas, expanding the hot gas, and finally cooling the gas before repeating the cycle.

We suggest you adopt at least 95% high grade alcohol to be the fuel. Because 95% high grade alcohol can produce enough hot power to drive the engine. By the heat from high grade alcohol, the engine will run madly and create the electricity.

Question:	Will this rev high because I want a slower rpm stifling engine does this rev really high if so any recommendations for a slower rpm stifling engine
Answer:	Yes this engine rotated at a high speed and provides low torque. You can easily stop the flywheel with your finger. There is no speed limiter or way to adjust speed. Maybe you could get a desired final driven rpm by changing the pulley size.

Answer:	Universal PRODUCT code. (Some people assume the word, "Price", but this is incorrect; the code style is used for more than just price tags.)
Question:	Can this machine be used for cooling a small cabinet
Answer:	No. This is a fully functioning engine used as a teaching tool to demonstrate how energy(heat) can be transformed into mechanic work. As far as function, it can then turn that mechanic work into electrical energy through the small generator via an light an led it comes with it. You can also reverse the leads on the led light to show resistance which slow the engine. It serves no practical real life application other that to teach and it has definitely stuck up several conversations and intrest by others who see it and are curious. When they see it run properly they are shocked at the speeds in which this tiny little engine operates. Even more surprised when they learn the rmps are laughable compared to an internal combustion engine for in their cars. 5/5 for one who's interested in seeing and educating others on the principles of a heat engine.
Question:	Is this an actual kit? Or is already assembled. I want a small fun project for my kid, but I don't want it to just be assembled
Answer:	There is some assembly required, but it's not a kit. I got it for my bf, who teaches HS engineering classes and uses it to demonstrate principles of thermodynamics. I don't know the age of your child, but you would definitely want to supervise due to how fragile the glass components are and the use of a flammable material. Hope that helps.
