Dry Powder (sic) Dextrose, FD&C Red No. 40 (Allura Red), Silicon Dioxide, Ethyl Alcohol and Artificial Flavoring, Tricalcium Phosphate, Propylene Glycol. NOTE: Ingredients are split out on the box by packet. I made an attempt to list the distinct ingredients. Please see the description or box side to confirm ingredients list is complete and safe for you or your child before using. |

| Answer: | Almost everything is needed for making and flavoring the gum. Steps are included for rolling gum in powdered sugar (not included) to prevent the surface from sticking and to have a sweet first taste for the gum. (Citric acid is suggested for dusting and to have a sour initial taste and that is included.) Steps are also included for adding food color, but food colors are also not provided in the kit. Also, there is an activity for designing packaging for "marketing" the gum, but the supplies listed for this activity are not included in the box. These include markers, paper, scissors, and tape or glue. Some reviewer also point out that kitchen supplies are needed that are not included such as a microwave safe disposable cup, foil, something to stir the gum base with as it is being heated/melted, and other items. Because of that I suggest the adult prepare for the activity ahead of time by opening the box and reading the booklet to avoid any disappointment at production time. |
