Answer:	Our ants never took to the gel. So we wasted money on live ants and this habitat,... the saddest thing is that it seems like living beings suffer. I do pop open the air vent more often than recommended (book says weekly; I do daily) but I also stand watch because I almost had 2 or 3 escape...gently brushed them back in - crisis averted. Answer:	You could add more ants from the same colony if you provided your own ants in the first place. If you added ants from different colonies, there might be an ant war. The first ants might regard the new ants as invaders.

Answer:	Not unless you leave the lid off. During feeding, it may be possible for an ant or two to get out, but I din't run into that problem.

Answer:	Hi Badgers154, thank you for your great question! The LED light is not needed for the ant habitat to function correctly. However, we have found that it actaully seems to stimulate the ants to tunnel. We recommend leaving it on for a few hours a day, but the habitat will work fine without it. The visibility without the light on is good. You should have no problems seeing the ants or the tunnels they dig. I hope this helps and let us know if we can help in any other way!
Question:	Does this refill kit include new sand for the ant farm
Answer:	It’s been over a year and 3 months and I still have an ant living. Not sure if it’s a super ant or this habitat is just that good, but I never expected any of them to live this long.
Question:	Can these fire ants eat the souls of my enemies
Answer:	Yes, most definitely. It would need to be cleaned with warm water. The family I gave mine to threw it away after the ants died so I don't have experience to say 100%, but I don't see why not.
