Answer: According to the packaging warnings, yes, it is. However, the most basic care and attention can avoid any issues. Example, do not consume the chemicals with clear labels of their toxicity. You basically grow the crystal then put it in a display case. It is not for handling. I am not the most careful individual in the world and I did not perish using the product. My cat was smart enough not to consume the product as well. However, if someone were to get ill from the product, I think that would be considered natural selection more than anything.

Answer: The weather kit makes a REAL WORKING WEATHER STATION,hence "reusable" We have used it at the Da Vinci Science Center for 22 kids- and plan to use it again in Dec 2014 (25 kids). It is to track weather changes, allows the data to be plotted, and lets the kids share their data to learn the temperatures in one town vary a great deal-and are not always the same as at the AIRPORT!

Answer: Each weather kit allows the parent and child to explore different aspects of the weather. They can either be purchased separately and enjoyed, or purchase one to see if your child is engaged by it and then purchase the 2nd set to round out the experience but either kit by itself would be educational and interactive. The answer truly depends on the child so if you are unsure of weather (haha get it?) Or not your child is going to be engaged by weather "experiments" you would be better off only purchasing 1 or the other and purchase the 2nd set if they get excited or engaged by it. Answer: There is no charging involved. As long as sunlight is shining on the panel the robot will keep running.

Question: The 48 page manual wasn't included. How can a get one
Answer: We're not positive but we doubt it. My son said that he's wired things incorrectly before and had to go back and move wires around to make the circuit work. I'm guessing that since it's a kid's toy, they probably have some safeguards in place to prevent shocks and that those safeguards would probably protect the equipment itself too.
Question: do you need to hook this up to a computer
Answer: They are almost all simple GPIO sequences and/or triggered functions. 1-6 are dedicated inputs, 7-12 are dedicated outputs, 13-14 are connected to a digital to analog converter and have been dedicated to sound. This DAC is in the chip. A-H from the program bridge. This is potentially the tricky part as multiple jumpers can be used at the same time. You must jump at least two together to do anything. As of yet I do not know if data is transmitted along these jumpers or if the hold a constant signal. Something else interesting about them, they are paired A = B, C = D, E = F, G = H. The processor package appears to be a QFN-44 and it is not equipped with internal pull-up or pull down resistors. The lack of capacitors on the inputs says they are either internal or there is a PIC or the like in the chip. My guess is that this is an 8051 processor by Nuvoton. If you know MPU or GPIO programming you should be able to make a fuzzer and figure it out quickly. If not it should be easy enough to map with a logic probe and an oscilloscope.

Answer: No. If you daisy chain them (usb-c to first ande then Display port from first to second monitor) you get the same image in both monitors. I got two monitors to display different desktops by using 2 usb-C cables, each connected to a usb-C port on the macbook pro. That way you can get up to 3 desktops (MBP display and 2 external monitors)
