Answer:	Thanks so much for asking! The product is made in China and I'd love to give you a little background that probably is too much information but thought some people might be interested as to how a 7-year-old made manufacturing decisions. There are card game manufactures in the US and most have extremely high minimum order quantities so when Alex (the then 7-year-old inventor) was first starting out with his Kickstarter he couldn't meet their minimum order quantities. We found an amazing company in China (The company's name is Bang Wee - Alex loved the name) who was willing to do smaller quantities and they were super supportive even though they knew he was only 7 years old. Since that initial Kickstarter the game has really taken off and Alex can order the larger quantities that a US manufacturer requires but he would still be a small fish for manufacturers who often work with big toy companies. He also knows that without Bang Wee he might not have ever been able to bring this product to life and they have been so good to him so he's decided to stay with that original manufacturer...although we make a point to review that every year and this year will go back to some US manufacturers to see if we can find a good fit. Also, finding manufacturers who work well with kids will be key (Alex is 9 now) as many people are not used to working with kids in manufacturing and thus Bang Wee has really shined in that regard. Also with the potential tariffs going in effect this month, Alex is learning a ton of about international trade which is such a great experience for him too. I mean how better to understand how tariffs work than to pay them yourself. We will update this Q&A if we do switch to a US Manufacturer.

Question:	Is this compatible with regular Lego brand legos
Answer:	Yes! But don't buy the book! It is a total waste! You need 350 of your own Legos in order to build the things that are in the book! My son was so disappointed with it!
Question:	Is this set too difficult for a soon to be eight year old? He has lots of legos, and loves building with them
Answer:	I think it's suitable for 8 years. There are instructions to read to help build the different devices, but there are pictures as well to help with the parts needed for building. I think it would effect for this age. I use it with second and third graders and they do well with all parts of the kit. I'd recommend it!
Question:	Does the lego classic medium creative brick box 10696 have everything i need to make all the machines
Answer:	I think you will need more. For example, the pop-up flag & falling hammer project uses 11 (2 of those included) 8x2's. One project also includes a 4 peg slope brick that I can't see in the picture of the brick box. For the pulley and bucket project, you'll need what looks like 28 4x2's (or pieces that add up to those).
Question:	What is the main age group this book is written for
Answer:	There is no way to attach a number to who could benefit from this book. I purchased it for my then 7 year old grandson. However, his Dad and I have been very active with him with other hands on building projects since he could walk. That being said, at seven he still struggled to figure out some of the possibilities presented in this book. Some even put my 68 year old brain to the test. Whatever the age, be prepared to work with the person and enjoy doing it.

Answer:	I also have a Grandson that has Ausberger, he is 11 yrs old. He does not play this as a game but just tries to balance the stack. He tires but of course loses his patience; doesn't stay on the game long but I do see he tries a little harder and stays longer on the game.
