The Human Genome Project was completed in 2003 and a group of scientists began uncovering the human skin's unique genetic blueprint. Answer:	Good morning. If a test kit has expired reagents or strips then the manufacturer no longer guarantees the accuracy of results. This does not mean, however, that the test will give false positive or false negative results, but one should not totally rely on test results obtained from a kit with expired components since the manufacturer does not stand behind their accuracy. Answer:	This kit is for testing Arsenic 3 & 5 in wood samples. The kit you would want to use is 481396-5. As for whether or not the correct kit will tell you if your water has arsenic in it, please keep in mind that the kit only detects free dissolved arsenic so any organically bound arsenic will not get detected. To get a total arsenic reading a lab would need to perform (we think) an acid digestion on the sample first to free the bound arsenic. Then testing would yield a total arsenic reading.
