| Question: | How sturdy is this kit? Will it support extra blankets and a little rough housing (as I imagine my 3yo nephew will use it |
| Answer: | It is sturdy if you build your fort correctly. By correctly, I mean with lots of closed shapes, like cubes, pyramids, etc. Like the shapes they show in the pictures. If you build it with those shapes, it will hold up blankets fine. We had issue with making a larger fort and trying to skimp on closing some of the shapes and using the pieces we saved to extend the fort out. Then the fort started to bow under the weight of the blankets. We ended up getting 2 sets so they could build a larger, sturdy fort. Also, we had to make sure the sticks were pressed tightly into the connector balls. That will insure they will handle the rough housing. As "Smiles" said, you will need adults to help them set it up properly. |
