Question:	Would this be too advanced for a1 year old
Answer:	I'm sorry that the person with a 'genius level IQ' could not figure out how to use the product. I had no problem at all learning to use it with my dog. I let my dog wear it for several hours at a time, though I do not leave it on her 24 / 7. She never seems to be bothered by it, seems to find it comfortable. I made sure to fit it slightly loosely, so that it does not chafe her. this product has been so useful for my arthritic, senior dog. It was recommended by her veterinarian.

Answer:	There is a cup like strap that you use only when lifting a male that goes across their groin area that can easily be unsnapped and stays secured on the side of the lift harness, other than that there is nothing else that will interfere with them doing their business. This strap can be unsnapped and removed completely for a female.
Question:	What is the age range listed on this toy's box
Answer:	The dog I used this on was a 110 lb. German Shepherd. What was nice about this harness was that, I could use my own front harness and easily connect it to the rear harness. There was still plenty of adjustment on the front harness to fit a much larger dog, perhaps up to 120 lbs. There was much room for expansion, in both the front and rear harness's. And like I said, you could use your own front harness.

Answer:	The largest size is a Large and it barely works for my 140 pound Rotti, but it is the absolutely best device I have found for lifting my big dog. I have tried other items and because my dog does not have a tail they just slip off the end. This one is streched as far as it will go and it works! Be sure to line the back legs with thick fuzzy socks or sheepskin to protect your dog. The back harness will dig in and hurt your dog without added layers. Good luck.
