Answer:	I haven't used them for either purpose, but they are sharp and tough (or thick?) with various eye sizes. I feel they would be good for either application.

Answer:	I believe these needles are made in France and they are very difficult to find in this country. Not many shops carry them and so I was glad when I found them on Amazon.

Answer:	The needles I have the Bohn size 10 betweens are 1 inch exactly. Seems to be a good length to quilt with and I will say they are very sharp and very nice needles.

What to order to spray a door or fender:

• One spray paint can generally has enough paint to fully paint a 4ft X 4ft area (2 coats, blending etc), typically this is enough to fully paint a door or a small fender. More than one spray paint can is generally required to repaint a bumper, hood, roof, etc

Answer:	The smaller the number, the larger the needle. I prefer a size 10 or 11 for hand quilting because the shorter needle makes for a smaller stitch. I also think the John James Gold'n Glide needles are the best quilting needles you can buy.

Answer:	No the eye on these is for cotton sewing thread. These aThese needles are too small for yarn. You may need to get darling needles.

Answer:	I do not usually have a problem with them bending or breaking. The only time I did was when I used the smaller than size 10 (maybe a 12). It was not the strength as much as the shortness; I could not make multiple stitches without it bending. So I went to the 10 and I love them. In fact, I just gave away my Roxanne needles and only use these. Thanks for reminding me I have to order some more. - the company is great too. When my order got mixed up, I called and the immediately fixed it .
Question:	Does this come with a clear coat
Answer:	Size 10 is a little larger needle than an 11. I prefer a 11 to hand quilt.

Answer:	I wetsanded the clear gloss over this and it all came right off, sanded down to my fricken primer with 2000 grit. I couldnt believe it. I have to repaint the whole thing now kinda blows....

Answer:	I used on my 2014 BMW 528i Rims, I also uses the clearcoat to protect is from scratching easily, works great
Question:	Do you have to primer, first
Answer:	You should and it will run less and cure better, but you don't absolutely have to. If you skip primer, you have to degrease and clean the entire wheel in soap and water, then wet sand the entire surface to get through the clear coat or acrylic barrier in the paint layer, 800-2000 grit until the entire rim looks hazy when you wipe it dry. Then clean it with isopropyl alcohol, and use air to blow any remaining fibers or debris away from the wheel. All your coats must be 5-30 minutes apart, not sooner, not longer. First two coats, just lightly dust it, don't worry about coverage. Next coat should be a light overall coat that is not wet and glossy (pull it back!). Once that tacks up a bit, then you can apply a medium wet coat, by repeating the light coat you did over and over until it STARTS to look wet and glossy. Don't keep going over a spot that already does. Let it cure untouched for 7 days. Your paint will be good.

Answer:	Yes, many sizes. I started collecting child sizes when I taught my girls. The correct thimble will help you make the proper rocking motion. The quilting stitch is different from the sewing stitch. If you don't use a thimble you are sewing your quilt, not quilting it.
Question:	will it stick to plastic
Answer:	5/10 means there are various size needles in the package from small to large. Sizes 8 and 9 needles are fine needles which I use most of the time for hand sewing and embroidery. These sizes are not generally included in a package of 5/10 needles. I hope this helps.

Answer:	While not as thin as milleners, they are very nice and slim. They are long, so easy to hold, and the eye is large. I use them for everything, with no overt holes made by needles

Answer:	Love these needles, but I don't think you will get six strands through. I use hand quilting thread which threads easily. The eye is not extremely long. I would try, but I am in the middle of moving and all my sewing supply is already in storage.
