Answer:	Dear Customer, it is 30x magnifying glass. When you use the magnifying, the distance between magnifying glass and books or others will affect the real magnifying looking.

Answer:	The product box shows "made in China." The product light is good, high intensity. But the product is heavier than similar devices.

Answer:	The product descriptions on says "Materials: ABS+Double Glass Lens." ABS is a thermoplastic polymer molded into the frame and handle, not the lens! I simply DO NOT understand why a couple of people replied with "acrylic lens" and "plastic."

Answer:	From Wikipedia, you can find the following formula for magnification power: [MA] = (25cm)/(f) + 1 Solving for f, you would need a focal length of 8.6mm. Magnifying glasses only work if the object is closer than one focal length. This would make the magnifying glass completely impractical, and is quite obviously not true. Summary: it's not possible to have a single lens that can magnify at 30x and be of any practical use.

Answer:	YES! This is a cheap Fresnel lens! I'm returning mine as I type this! They lied in the description. It's not a "CRYSTAL CLEAR LENS: Optical grade magnifying lens" as they said in the description. They lied. Plus, in the hand it feels like a cheap piece of plastic garbage.

Answer:	The best distance can be vary from person to person, generally, the best magnifying result would be anywhere from 2" to 4.5" above the objects/small prints, the point is to see objects/small prints clearly, some people see clearly and feel most comfortable for their eyes with distance 2.5" while other may find 3.5" to 4".
Question:	does this magnify when placed directly on the page
Answer:	You need to position this page magnifier 2" to 4"(adjust distance to which gives you the best result) above the small prints/objects in order to have optimal magnifying effect.

How to Use the Headband Magnifier?

1. Dismantling and Installation of Lance

• Hold the lens sides with your finger to pull out lens outwards
• Choose the required lens and aim the connector right above the lens, and then insert it

2. Regulating of Headband:

• Pull out the switch at the back of the headband→ Turn it counterclockwise to increase the length of the helmet→ Place on your head to adjust size→ Press the switch to fix
• Adjust the height of the magnifier to meet your request view angle through two knobs on both sides→Tighten the knobs

3. Battery Charging

• Charging required when the LED brightness loss obviously, please take out the battery compartment by pulling it outwards
• Use the UAB cable to connect with USB charger, computer or power bank, the red charging indicator will lit up when you connect successfully
• It takes about four hours to fully charged when the battery runs out. The light will turn green when battery fully charged

Answer:	if i found 4, 6 and 9 i'm sure there's a 7 somewhere...do a search or a bigger search if it's not on amazon.

Answer:	If you're combining the two lenses 2.5 & 3.5 you'll end up with a 5.00. So the 4.00 would be less strong. I use to put a 1.50 & 2.50 together and the 4.00 that I bought is the same magnification.

Answer:	It depends on your eyes and their vision. The worse your vision, the higher strength you’ll need. I use them for needlepoint, paint-by-numbers, and reading extremely small print. The 4.0 is perfect for me, but 6.0 is too strong and everything is blurry. Go to a drug store and try on the OTC readers, putting one pair on top of another and see what works best for you.

HOW TO-

The Lightview is really lightweight and is simple to put together. It comes with only four pieces that snap into place with each other easily, and also includes a simple instruction diagram to show how the parts fit together.

The On/Off switch is conveniently located at the top of the gooseneck, near the lens. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets.

LED DETAILS-

This lamp includes a built-in power-saving LED fixture that stays cool, even as your living space bathes for hours. It has 6 watts, 570 Lumens and a color temperature of a clear, crisp 6,000 Kelvin.
