Every player is involved every turn and everyone has a chance to succeed in the game. To master the iKnow game, players can’t rely on their wit alone. Players need to carefully balance their knowledge about the different game categories with how well they know the other players.

iKnow offers players a unique game experience. The clues lead the players step by step to the correct answer, and give the players interesting insights to every single phenomenon in questions. iKnow’s two-pronged game mechanic makes it possible for everyone to have a chance to win, even without a mass of trivia knowledge. Just know what the other players will know, and you're on your way!

During each turn, all the players are answering the same question and have the opportunity to earn points. Before any clues are read, players must determine if they will need 1-3 clues to successfully answer the question What sets iKnow apart from other trivia games is the unique wagering element. After the players have all determined how many clues they will need to answer a question, each player is required select another player and wager whether that player will be able to correctly answer the question.

Setting up

Place the game board on the table. Each players selects an iKNOW token and an iBET token and one white chip. Place your chip on your iBET token. The remainder of the chips will constitute the ’bank’ from which the players will receive chips. White chips=1 point and Black chips=5 points.

How to Play:

1. One player acts as the reader for each round and reads the question aloud – but does not read any clues yet.

2. The rest of the players decide how many clues they want to hear before answering the question, and place their iKNOW tokens on the game board accordingly. The fewer clues that you need to hear, the higher you’ll score for a correct answer.

3. Now you get to guess how the other players will do. Use your knowledge of the other players, and guess whether or not they will know the answer.

4. The reader reads the clues aloud, and the players answer the question. Nothing keeps you from using the same answer as another player, but are you sure they got it right? Did they intentionally say the wrong answer to lead you down the wrong path?

5. Once everyone’s answered, the correct answer is read aloud. Right and wrong answers, as well as correct and incorrect wagers are checked and each player is awarded chips accordingly.

6. You earn three chips for answering the question correctly on level three; two for answering it correctly on level two; and one for answering it correctly on level one. You don’t lose any chips for a wrong answer, but you do lose one for an incorrect wager about someone else’s success.

7. The first player to win 20 points is the winner.

Answer:	Thanks so much for asking! The product is made in China and I'd love to give you a little background that probably is too much information but thought some people might be interested as to how a 7-year-old made manufacturing decisions. There are card game manufactures in the US and most have extremely high minimum order quantities so when Alex (the then 7-year-old inventor) was first starting out with his Kickstarter he couldn't meet their minimum order quantities. We found an amazing company in China (The company's name is Bang Wee - Alex loved the name) who was willing to do smaller quantities and they were super supportive even though they knew he was only 7 years old. Since that initial Kickstarter the game has really taken off and Alex can order the larger quantities that a US manufacturer requires but he would still be a small fish for manufacturers who often work with big toy companies. He also knows that without Bang Wee he might not have ever been able to bring this product to life and they have been so good to him so he's decided to stay with that original manufacturer...although we make a point to review that every year and this year will go back to some US manufacturers to see if we can find a good fit. Also, finding manufacturers who work well with kids will be key (Alex is 9 now) as many people are not used to working with kids in manufacturing and thus Bang Wee has really shined in that regard. Also with the potential tariffs going in effect this month, Alex is learning a ton of about international trade which is such a great experience for him too. I mean how better to understand how tariffs work than to pay them yourself. We will update this Q&A if we do switch to a US Manufacturer.

Answer:	It’s good for teen, preteens and adults! Our 12 & 15 year old loved it. Some topics are a bit mature sooo there was some unexpected conversations needing to be had in the midst of it.

Answer:	I have not purchased this game, but after reading the comments I find it very concerning that someone would market a game with these cards to children. There is no reason to expose children to these concepts. They will remember who taught them these things when they are older and hopefully find it disturbing as well. This game sounded fun (from the title) and I almost bought it without reading the comments; after reading them, it sounds like a game pedophiles would use to groom children for sexual abuse. Shame on whoever made this game and marketed it for children.

Answer:	Yes absolutely! 8 players is just a recommended number to keep the gameplay short - the more players, the longer the gameplay might be, but it's definitely not an issue.

We love it because it stimulates conversation, stories and all sorts of goodness that contributes rather than detracts from a great evening. We intentionally made the game play simple. We eliminated the need for game pieces, a game board, die and, of course, complicated instructions that bewilder and frustrate.

Our rule of thumb was: the clues needed to make the folks playing the game excited about guessing and learning the answer.
