Answer:	Because they are cutting out pokemon since there are way too many. There are around 800+ pokemon and we dont know how many new ones there will be. The company has known this for a while and were gonna cut pokemon out in the future until they decided it would be best to do it for gen 8. They even stated that just because they cut out pokemon dont mean they will be gone forever. They will still have a chance to appear in future games. Furthermore, they want to choose fan favorites, as well as, pokemon that fits in the Galar region. I would not expect too many alolan pokemon as they look tropical and will not fit in well in the new generation but that is just my speculation. We just have to wait and see what they plan to do. I know it sucks having pokemon cut out for these games as every pokemon is someone's favorite but i still support their decision in doing so since we are reaching almost 1000 pokemon mark. GameFreak and Pokemon both work hard and has never let us down in making a good game happen so i know this will still be a great game to play. Shy Llama

Shy llama has serious social anxieties from growing up with Big Llama. She doesn’t like to be approached by just anyone and certainly not by Big Llama. Only numbered cards 1-4 or some special llamas can be played on Shy Llama.

Numbered Llamas can be played on themselves, a lower number or certain Special Llamas listed below.

Baby Llama can be played on any card. The next player can play any card.

Shy Llama can be played on any card, except Big Llama. The next player can only play cards 1-4 or any Special Llamas except Big Llama.

Big Llama can be played on any card, except Shy Llama. The next player can only play Special Llamas except Shy Llama.

Magic Llama can be played on any card. It discards the play pile and the player plays again.

Ghost Llama can be played on any card. It is invisible and acts like the previous card.

Four of a kind discards the play pile and the player plays again!

Below is an example of a three-player game:

1. SETUP

Deal each player 3 cards face-down, 3 cards face-up, and 5 cards for their hand. Leave the remaining cards face-down as the Draw Pile. Leave some space on the table for a Play Pile and a Discard Pile.

2. HOW TO WIN

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins! Other players may continue to play for second place and beyond if they wish.

3. HOW TO PLAY

Choose a player to go first and rotate clockwise. They can play any card to start the Play Pile.

On each turn, you must match or beat the top card of the Play Pile. You may play more than one of the same number or face on your turn. Higher numbered cards beat lower numbered cards. Special Llama cards have their own rules. You can find these rules on the cards themselves or on the Llama Hierarchy instruction card.

If four cards of the same number or face are played in a row (either in one turn or over consecutive turns), the Play Pile is discarded, and the last player plays again. When the Play Pile is empty, a player can play any card to restart the Play Pile.

At the end of a turn, if you have fewer than five cards in your hand, draw cards from the Draw Pile to have five cards in your hand. If on your turn you can't play a card, pick up the Play Pile (yes, the entire Play Pile) and add it to your hand, ending your turn.

4. THE END GAME

Once the Draw Pile runs out, the objective is to get rid of all of your cards. Once your hand is empty, you must play your face-up cards. If none are playable, choose one, and add it to the Play Pile. This pile will become your brand new hand! Yes, you have a hand again. Aren’t llamas fun?

If you pick up cards, you must finish the cards in your hand before you can play your face-up cards again. Once you play all your face-up cards, you must attempt to play your face-down cards, without looking at them. If the card you flip fails, you must pick up the Play Pile with the failed card, ending your turn. You must once again finish the cards in your hand before you can play your face-down cards again.

The first player to finish all of their cards wins!
