Answer:	No, the click into place and are held quite securely. I also have a travel scrabble set that uses magnets and find this one better. The magnet one is small, and fits in your pocket so is very good in some situations, but the tiles are a bit larger than the squares, and finger nails aren't so easy to get under them. The click fit means it's always tidy, has never come adrift due to spills or knocks and it simply says put if you need to close it up for a while. My third set is the traditional table top one with nothing to hold the tiles in place, and I MUCH prefer this set over my others. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, Super Scrabble is a larger board, 3 extra rows all around and lots more letters. The outermost row will give you quadruple points. I bought it and it's a lot of fun but takes longer to play. It did not have roller bearings on the bottom, it was just a board, and no raised edges (just a flat board). Hope this answers your question. Buy it, you'll love it.

Answer:	First the game is different from the old scrabble in that it has a bigger board and more tiles. This game has wood tiles and holders. as for fun, this is a great improvement to the original game. however the squares are a bit larger on the board but the tiles are the same size as always. this creates a mis aligment on longer runs over the board. Not something to stop playing but one wishes the designer had played the game on the new board. hope this helps.

Answer:	Not enough to notice. and it's only lockable if you don't tilt the board more than 33°. It definitely keeps them from moving around, but you may be looking for the "locking" or "magnetic" version, where you can fold the board up during a game and continue later. But the pieces are clearly marked (better than my old wooden tiles, but being 40+ years old they are in that "fade away" period of life. ~empathy~) and solidly built, so any problems with handling or reading will be comparable to your old tiles.

Answer:	I found a vintage checkers board and pieces when cleaning out my grandparents' house. FYI, the old style checkers are 1 1/8 inches in diameter (3 mm). The old board is green and yellow and approximately 15 inches square. It folds in half.

Answer:	because they are such a light duty rivet, that they are actually something to joke about.

Question:	Is this the newest 'deluxe' version? I see another deluxe version with drawers to hold the pieces
Answer:	The actual playing surface is 13" x 13" but on the left and the right side are curved sections which extend 3 1/2" beyond the edge of the playing surface, so the maximum width is 20". The plastic ridges are great for keeping the tiles in place. The board does come in two loosely interlocking sections, so you have to be a bit careful in picking the board up, especially if there are already words in place. Still, a good, moderately priced deal.

Answer:	Hello John...the tiles are the same as any "regular" size scrabble game...that's not marked as oversized...or the obvious smaller magnetic travel boards. And are not perfectly square...but measure approx. 3/4x3/4 inches (2cmx2cm). The playing surface the same as the bigger boards...that have other types of boarders. Hope this helps.

The Scrabble Letter Tiles Each Measure 0.44 in x 0.41 in x 0.19 in As for seeing the letters - while everyone's eyesight is different of course, let me offer myself as an example. I will be welcomed by AARP this year, wear corrective lenses, and occasionally use reading glasses for a little help with smaller print. I do not need reading glasses to be able to see the letter tiles when playing Scrabble on this Deluxe Travel Edition. The dark black color of the letter and point value is printed on the light wood tile to be easily visible at normal playing distance. Additionally, the printing on the game board bonus squares is quite high in contrast, making them relatively easy to read. While this edition was not designed to aid people with challenging vision conditions, it's certainly not more difficult to read at a normal playing distance for those with normal or corrected to normal vision. Answer:	Good Question. I am famous for maltreating game boxes with unfortunate results. The Deluxe Scrabble box is sturdy and to close the box properly it is necessary to have all of the contents lined up properly. If you don't do this the box is going to break and stuff will be sprung loose. Fortunately, I have enjoyed the aesthetics of the board and its functionality and that encourages me to protect, not just by packing it properly but by insuring that it gets properly stored in the cupboard. Even if it "gets shoved around" it will resist opening. It is a really nice piece of equipment. Y

Answer:	The item is true to size, so I would recommend following the size guide. The material has a comfortable stretch as well, so if you're in-between sizes, there's some extra give.

Answer:	I would recommend buying your size, i.e. if you wear xs, then buy an xs. The material has stretch so I would think either one would fit IMO.

Answer:	Agree with the previous 2 answers. Their sizes are smaller than the regular one but bigger and much easier that the travel version. On more thing in addition, the tiles are not "locked" to the board, as such it is not suitable for Travel! Use it on a table at home.

Answer:	try using another dry erase marker and write over the writing on the board and it should erase then. I stopped writing directly on the board because I didn't want it to look bad from it not erasing so well. Instead, I gently tape a sheet of paper to the board area to keep score.
