Answer:	My 2-yr old absolutely loves this game. She plays the game with us for hours. I bought 5-6 toddler/preschooler board games and no other games could ever have her engaged for that long. She gets confused about two aspects of the game though: 1) she may start looking for objects from a previous turn while undertaking the current Goldbug search; 2) reaching the island does not seem to be her goal of the game - she's too happy to share the food with the pigs.

Answer:	I am not an expert, but I do think that is a wonderful idea! The matching skills are great for memory and this matching set is just so beautiful and not childish looking at all. You can use it in various ways to maka games that are increasingly more difficult depending on the degree of mental decline he has.
