This is the official ALIEN tabletop roleplaying game a universe of body horror and corporate brinkmanship, where synthetic people play god while space truckers and marines serve host to newborn ghoulish creatures. It's a harsh and unforgiving universe and you are nothing if not expendable. Stay alive if you can. The ALIEN tabletop roleplaying game is a beautifully illustrated full-color hardcover book of 392 pages, both presenting the world of ALIEN in the year 2183 and a fast and effective ruleset designed specifically to enhance the ALIEN experience. The game supports two distinct game modes: Cinematic play is based on pre-made scenarios that emulate the dramatic arc of an ALIEN film. Designed to be played in a single session, this game mode emphasizes high stakes and fast and brutal play. You are not all expected to survive. The core rulebook contains one introductory Cinematic scenario, Hope's Last Day. Campaign play is designed for longer continuous play with the same cast of player characters over many game sessions, letting you explore the ALIEN universe freely, sandbox style. The core rulebook contains random tables and other powerful tools to quickly create star systems, colonies, missions, encounters, and NPCs for your campaign. The rules of the game are based on the acclaimed Year Zero Engine, used in award-winning games such as Tales from the Loop and Mutant: Year Zero, but adapted and further developed to fully support and enhance the core themes of ALIEN: horror and action in the cold darkness of space. Made in the UK.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the rulebook all that is needed to play the game? I see maps and stories and dice sets, all quite expensive. Can it be played with only the book |
Answer: | I would order at least 1 size down to medium (6). |
Question: | Is this the type of game where your characters could live a long time and grow in levels and fame or more of just a survival experience |
Answer: | I order the Ex-Officio a size up from what I normally order as they seem to me to fit a little tight. I find the larger size to be more comfortable and less binding. And since they are made of the stretchy material, it is not like it is huge, it just doesn't stretch more than I need. Perhaps they fit some people in their regular size, but that is how they fit me. If it helps, I am 5'6" tall and weigh 133. I wear a medium at Victoria's Secret, but order a large here. |
Question: | Can this be played with one player and a GM, or does it require more players |
Answer: | No. They are still massively comfortable and do not itch or make me sweaty. |
Question: | Do I need a laptop or computer to play this |
Answer: | made in China. |

Game Overview
ICECOOL is a fun flicking game that is a great test of dexterity for children, teenagers and adults alike.
Set in a penguin school, the 3D board is made up of 5 classrooms, using a unique ‘box in a box’ set up, and players use different flicking techniques to move their naughty penguin around corners and through doorways in the game board to win a fish, while the Hall Monitor tries to stop them.
Everyone takes a turn being the Hall Monitor, so the number of rounds equals the number of players.
Game Set Up
Secure the 5 game board boxes together with the 4 white fish tokens. Choose a color and take the matching penguin, reminder card, ID card and 3 fish tokens. Shuffle the fish cards to create a Draw pile, choose the first Hall Monitor and every other player attaches their fish tokens over the doorways.
Playing the Game
A player’s turn consists of one flick. Runners start in a classroom and slide through the doors to grab the fish. When a Runner gets a fish, he also gets a fish card, and when the Hall Monitor tags someone, he takes the Runner’s ID card.
Finding the Winner
The round ends when one Runner has gotten all fish of his color or the Hall Monitor has tagged all the runners. Before you continue with another round, you change the roles so every player gets to be the Hall Monitor. At the end of the game you reveal all the fish cards and the player with the most victory points wins!
Family Fun
Ideal for families looking for amusement for all ages, ICECOOL is equally suitable for kids and adults. The special form of flicking pieces creates a new bag of tricks - players can make the game pieces slide, curve, jump, dive or bump against the walls in a game of skill, dexterity, precision and tactical thinking.
ICECOOL is fast, fun and with unpredictable penguins sliding, jumping and bumping each other, it’s always surprising!

User questions & answers
Question: | How family friendly is this? We have family nights ranging from 4 y/o to 60. All of whom want to play |
Answer: | We play this with our 10 year old - 17 year old and the adults. It is as family friendly as your audience. We love it and get a good laugh every time we play. Your 4 year old wouldn't be able to play, though. They need to be able to write quickly and process questions and answers. |
Question: | What is the difference in the blue and the green cards |
Answer: | For me the difference is only the categories. Questions for both are almost the same. It just the way they phrase the questions. Very entertaining game. |
Question: | How many questions/cards does this game have? I don't want to just have the same cards that we're playing with over and over |
Answer: | There are 400 cards. You should be able to play this game about 30 times before you run out of cards. |
Question: | I am hosting a game night for 12 people. would double ditto accommodate that many people to play at the same time? what others games would be a good |
Answer: | Yes, Double Ditto can accommodate 12 people or more. Its great for parties or game nights. Other games that can be played with large groups that I can think of are Outburst, 5 Second Rule, Taboo, and Rollick. Have a fun game night. |

Run, little mice, run! Many people played this board game as kids and new generations can enjoy classic gameplay with the Mouse Trap game. Players move their mouse pawn around the gameboard collecting cheese wedges and building the entertaining and crazy Mouse Trap contraption…but don't get trapped! The goal is to trap other players' mouse pawns in the trap while trying to be the last player left. Kids and parents can enjoy lots of laughs while playing this board game together. Hasbro Gaming and all related terms are trademarks of Hasbro.
Build a better mousetrap? We dare you. Naturally, the object is to trap mice in the mousetrap, while avoiding getting trapped. By rolling the die, you proceed around the game board, collecting cheese pieces and building a mousetrap bit by bit. Once complete, you set the wheels in motion, as it were, to try to capture the opposition's mice. But this is no ordinary trap. With this contraption you start by turning the crank, that rotates the gears, that push the lever, that moves the shoe, that kicks the bucket, that sends the ball down the stairs and into the gutter, that leads to the rod that releases a second ball, that falls through the bathtub and onto the springboard, that catapults the diver into the washtub, that causes the cage to fall and--whew!--hopefully, capture a mouse. The last "mouse" left uncaptured wins --Alison Golder

As We All Know...You Can Pick Your Nose, But You Can't Pick Your Family!
This laugh-out-loud party game uses bits of comedian Jeff Foxworthy's material that mix and match to create wacky situations that families and friends will love! Play the original game, and get the expansion/travel pack to add to it for additional cards!
One player reads a set up card, like 'While walking past my sister's bedroom, I heard her say…' and then other players choose a punch line card to fill in the blank, hoping the reader will pick theirs as the best:
Made and played by comedian Jeff Foxworthy
Inspired by the insanity of his own family and friends, Foxworthy created the game with laughter in mind. "There are a few certainties in life. One of them is everybody’s relatives are crazy," Foxworthy says. "You can let them make you nuts too, or you can learn to just laugh about it. I prefer laughter every time."
When he played it during a Thanksgiving gathering, Foxworthy says, "The results were beyond anything I could have hoped for. We laughed until we cried and a few people might have even peed just a little bit. Enjoy."

User questions & answers
Question: | I want to get this for my 14 year old daughter. Should I or is it too mature |
Answer: | I think it is not suited for a 14yr old. Many of the questions/answers are well above the teenage level and I would think mature level. |
Question: | Is this game like never have i ever, the game of poor life decisions? I heard never have i ever was a lot more social |
Answer: | Its a lot like never have I ever but with peoples weird characteristics rather than their poor life choices... Both are fun and social :) |
Question: | Is this game like Cards Against Humanity |
Answer: | Kind of. You have to have some thick skin to play this game. You read a card and everyone at the table votes who does that or is like that. Not to be played by people that get offended easily. |
Question: | I would assume you have to play this with people you know well right? Probably not good as an icebreaker, but more for say... college reunion |
Answer: | I played with my husband, sister, her fiance, and a couple from her job. The fact that they didn't know us well and had to play based on first impressions made it SO much more fun!! |

Product description
Search for treasure deep within the twisting maze! The playing board constantly changes so no two games are ever the same! The cards will determine your quest. Looking for the Dragon? How many routes can you take and also foil your opponents? Try to gain the advantage by inserting the extra tile to move walls and open passages of the labyrinth. Block and advance is the strategy! The first play to reach all of their treasure wins!
The aMAZEing Labyrinth uses a clever board design to create a series of ever-changing mazes that one to four players must move through. The object of the game is for each player to collect as quickly as possible all seven treasures depicted on their individual treasure cards. To add to the challenge, players know what the next treasure is only after they find the one before it. Before each turn, a maze card is pushed into the maze in a strategic place, helping the player make his or her way to the prize. This means that the entire maze shifts and changes on each turn, confounding some and helping others. Players will need to think ahead to choose just the right spot to shift the maze in their favor. This is an excellent game to get lost in. A simpler version can be played by younger children. --Lee Strucker

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this game fun and challenging enough for adults |
Answer: | I play it with my four year old granddaughter and while she is exceptionally brilliant :-) she wins as often as I do. So yes, it is challenging for both kids and adults. In all seriousness, I have been playing card and board games with my granddaughter since she was two so she is really good at games and it is definitely not over her head. |
Question: | Suppose you have an open pathway that continues off the end of the board, and it enters back onto board on the other side. Can you continue on |
Answer: | Although the rules re-place a player pushed off the board onto the tile that was added to the board (and caused the player to be pushed off the board), this is the only way they allow players to go from one side of the board to the other without going through the maze. That said, you should (and I will) try this as a house rule and see if it makes the game play better. |
Question: | ok for five year old |
Answer: | Depends on the 5 year old. If they are board game savvy, they will love this game. It takes a little guidance. Our daughter started playing it when she was 6, but she was playing chess at 3. It is a great game. We love it. Buy it now and take a chance and your five year can grow into it. |
Question: | I see this game is great for kids, but I have a 14 and 11 year old. Is it a game that is appealing to the older child and adult |
Answer: | My 13 yo wasn't all that into it, probably because he likes his video games more. But, my 7 yo loves this game, although he needed a little help getting the pieces to slide and such, and it lasts quite awhile, which makes younger children not sit still through the whole thing very well. More suitable for the older child. I think it is a wonderful game and very well made. The feel and look of the whole game board and pieces is just of high quality materials. Even the box is very heavy made. This is the second game I have purchased from Ravensburger and I am very impressed with the quality and fun. I think any children above 8 or 9 years old would enjoy this game. It does take quite awhile to play. It is not a 15 minute game. What I like is that when you place the cards on the board, it is random, so you never play the same game twice. Give it a try, I think you'll be impressed. |
