Answer:	When tipped upside down (like to quick flip all up), the white frames can come off. They can also pull off easily. However with normal game play, they do stay on. I do wish they were a bit more secure, like the original Milton Bradley version. There is a travel version...that may be better for your needs. These boards are a bit large to sit on laps in cars.

Answer:	About a 1 1/4” square and 15” base, very nice set and for being wood you would not expect it to stick but it does Great Travel Board in a RV
Question:	How many pieces are there
Answer:	Probably Pledge or its generic equivalent. Haven’t had that issue, yet:-) It’s a nice basic set. Strong magnets and convenient storage. Pieces can be a little hard to get out sometimes if you mash them into their spots, but it’s not a big deal. We love the product. Fully worth the money we paid.
