Answer:	a few coins and paper dollars. I bought it for my 2.5 year granddaughter so she is pretty new at learning about the coins. I was not happy with the company. They never sent me the instructions on how to use after about 10 emails. I was very disappointed. In addition, the box they sent this in was very damaged. I would not recommend buying this based on my experience. The drawer was hard to open too. That was noted in other reviews. Amazon would not let me post my review.

Answer:	People over 40. This is the 21st century and we don't use cash registers anymore. Get them a cell phone and learn them about auto payment apps.

Answer:	Very. It isn’t loud or annoying at all.
Question:	Does the scanner detach from the register and still work
Answer:	This is not a very good answer but we bought 2 different ones around the same time. (Have 2 young grandsons close in age who love to play “store”) One had a detachable scanner but this one , I am pretty sure, does not detach. But they loved it anyway. It turned out to be the fave. But the other one detached. Good luck.
