(Have 2 young grandsons close in age who love to play “store”) One had a detachable scanner but this one , I am pretty sure, does not detach. But they loved it anyway. It turned out to be the fave. Answer:	You would use a RMR from Trijicon or something alike... just use a 45 offset mount.

Answer:	Yes these are the off-set flip-up style sights. These are some really great sights but you have to make sure your flattop upper is the same height as the forward rail for the front sight, otherwise you'll have some issues getting a good zero.

Answer:	Yes, but they were not designed for the left side. They will fold forward instead of to the rear and the rear sight picture will slightly differ due to it being the opposite way.
