Question:	is this set compatible with the big rig building set
Answer:	Not all of the pieces are compatible.
Question:	How small are the smallest pieces? I am wondering if it would be okay for an 18 month old
Answer:	The pieces are prettying big, but suggested age on the product itself is 4+. The connector pieces (the plain wood pieces with the three or four holes in each) would probably be the most possible choking hazards - they look like thick tongue depressors with holes in them - probably pretty easy to choke on them if put in the mouth.

Answer:	A child can tap stick to hollow instrument, being hollow makes different sounds tapped in different spots. Rub stick up and down ridges similar to playing a wash board. Ideal for two small hands. My grandson and great nephews still go straight for this music box when they are together.
Question:	Is this safe for kids who would chew on it? The metal and paint parts
Answer:	This set is more for ages 4 and up. I wouldn't let a child chew on it as it is made of metal & wood. The paint &/or wood could come off if it were chewed on. It's a great set for older little ones though!

Answer:	They're not too big, maybe 6-8 inches long with a 2-inch diameter "bulb." Sorry I can't be more precise, but I ordered these for a gift.

Answer:	Yes I took them off my refrigerator because they left scratches and put them on a magnetic board.

Answer:	The magnet covers the entire back of animals. A 15 month old may find them fun. When you are in the kitchen, they can use them on the fridge or a metal cookie sheet. Take out the smaller animals due to choking hazard.They are made of durable wood...just in case you have a nibbler. Hope this helps :)

My niece 10 mo puts them in her mouth all the time and after a month Imy brother took the discs away, to my other niece 2 yo's chagrin. Now my niece 10 mo old has tested high for lead poisoning - on 4 occasions. My brother is going to test the pizza kit to see if it contains lead paint.

Answer:	If they are the same ones I got...the lids come off easily and can be put back on. No can opener needed.

Answer:	Probably because the bottom of the cans are made out of cardboard and if any other toddler is like my 2 year old they tend to put everything in their mouth, they dont have sharp edges but probably will have pieces of cardboard if torn with their tiny teeth. The lids are hard plastic and big, so no choking hazard there.
